Meet with your designer alone. Sometimes if you go with someone you don't feel comfortable enough to talk openly.
Be yourself. Only then will the dress be a reflection of you.
Choose a cut and color that suits you with your designer. Don't be guided by trends.
Choose comfort and quality.
Attend all scheduled tests.
Try it on, walk and move around every time you go.
Above all, enjoy the creative process.
