WHO WE ARE

Olga Macià House

About Olga Macià: Barcelona, 1979. She studied at the Felicidad Duce School of Design and Fashion (FENI) www.fdmoda.com. Her first passion was drawing as a channel for liberating emotions. Later, dance provided her with sensitivity and a life of constancy. By fusing these two emotional elements, drawing and dance, she discovered her vocation for fashion design.

Among the designers who have inspired her conceptually is the Italian Elsa Schiaparelli, known by her admirers as the surrealist designer, through her superimposed garments. Although in this case, Olga Macià is guided by realistic lines, only rescuing the Schiaparelli concept of all-in-one, to create a woman with a complete and sophisticated look, which perfectly integrates the clothes to her personality.

Olga Macià started out as a creative designer for the Mango brand for six years. Once her collaboration with the firm had ended, she was having dinner on a terrace and noticed that one of her designs had been selected for a global advertising campaign and was being displayed on a giant poster. At that moment, she felt that it was the signal sent by the universe to start her business career and open her own atelier.

In 2012, designer Olga Macià presented her first Spring/Summer collection called Cocktail Fashion Dresses, with a spectacular fashion show on the terrace of the Majestic Hotel in Barcelona, an event that brought together the city's high society.

“Olga Macià currently has a haute couture atelier, where she designs and sells her delicate garments nationally and internationally.”
